What slack2gong does
slack2gong reads metadata from your Slack Connect channels and pushes a daily summary to your Gong account's activity timeline. We never read, store, or transmit the contents of your Slack messages.
What we collect
- Your email address, used to sign you in via magic link.
- Slack workspace data: channel names, member counts, message timestamps, and the display names and emails of channel participants. We do not read message text.
- Slack OAuth tokensfor your workspace, so we can read channel activity and post into channels you've invited the bot to.
- Gong API credentials you provide, used solely to push events to your Gong timeline.
- Channel-to-account match data: the mapping you create or accept between Slack channels and Gong accounts.
What we send to Gong
Once per day, for each channel you've synced, slack2gong posts a single activity event to the matched Gong account containing: the channel name, message count, list of external participants, and a link back to the Slack channel.
How we store data
Your data is stored in a Supabase Postgres database hosted on AWS, encrypted at rest. OAuth tokens and Gong credentials are treated as sensitive secrets. We do not sell, share, or use your data for advertising or analytics.
Deleting your data
You can disconnect Slack or Gong at any time from your dashboard settings. To delete your account and all associated data, email support@slack2gong.com and we'll process the deletion.
